I’m Vamsi Klein, a professional baker with a background in artisan bread and pastry, and a lifelong reader. I often find myself baking in response to the stories I'm reading.

Through BreadBae, I share my work across a few connected spaces. Under the Hill Bakehouse is my custom baking service, where I work directly with clients to create made-to-order breads, baked goods, and pastry shaped by conversation, memory, and care. Buttered Up Books is a personal project pairing books with recipes I've created inspired by the stories.

I’m drawn to slow processes, from-scratch baking, and thoughtful work. I believe food can carry memory, that recipes can hold stories, and that not everything needs to be rushed or explained. BreadBae is not about trends or constant output. It’s about paying attention, following the details, and making something beautiful.
